how do YOU guys clutch kick?

what about to feint transition or shift lock.

not just clutch kicking and ebraking.

I usually just clutch kick to keep the drift going when I was KA.

your not double clutching when you should

first off ^lol

Secondly. There are numerous techniques that people string together(using some and not others) in order to get the same results. That’s where you develop your own style and do whats comfortable to you. You can’t just say “Do it this way and not that way.” Everyone is different and has their own way of doing things.

crank it like soulja boy ka24 style

fainting is just falt out SCARRRY.

isnt shift locking bad for engine? cz i think the only reazon that the wheels lock for a little bit on shift lock is because ur engine cant really match the spped of input-shaft. has anyone bent vlve or broke timing chain doing this?

i need the v.i.n before i answer that question.

And do what sharpe says, crack dat soulja boieeeeee KA ALL DAY

dude thnx for soo much love!

That’s what I’m hoping to do haha.

karkas9: unless you’re spending over 10K on a s-chassis, there’s really no point checking vins, just assume it’s a dirty slut and it’s been through people and alotta mileage and crashed and repaired and it will have rust everywhere. LOl

Lol shift lock hurting the motor lol
Hahahahahahaha doing anything other then shopping trip to no-frills hurts u r engine lololol
U drift yo ca u hurt it lololol

lol everything the karkas guy says is a joke fml

yo sharppy… you the pro drifter pro car builder. amazing guy. i sure wanna see you just to shake your hand.

I love how you edit your posts. Im subscribed to the thread, i already read what you edited, in my email inbox.

Find a combination of these styles that work for you, your car, and the turn you happen to be attempting to drift. Also… you only really initiate the first drift… if your good you connect all the rest using a giant combo of all the techniques and wont have a clue what you did untill you go watch your in car view from your go pro.

Go read this. use google and find a more in depth one if your cool. http://driftjapan.com/blog/entertainment/drift-bible/

someone que in on this… my opinion is that the rev on the motor is down and you let out the clutch fast which is like a very aggressive downshift and locks your tires… then you apply hard throttle as you are sliding and switch from a rear lock drift into a power over drift. That is the one you forgot on the first post… As for damage to engine… not sure. clutch probably slips before that unless you spent too much money on it.

+1 … Why clutch kick when you can just break weight transfer and sway into a nice power over! clutches smell, and I would rather buy tires!

why did you think i edit them dude?

You don’t have to be very aggressive with a shift lock if you are driving fast enough. When your car is at its limit of cornering grip it doesn’t take much to upset the balance and start the car sliding. I’ve done a couple by accident downshifting (gently) while turning into a corner.

i only use only clutch kick wen understeer or mid drift …

Stop reading shit online just go have fun.

I go… RR Vrooom, VARoooooom, VROOOM! (down to second or third, hell even four (but i ant that cool)) With clutch in pop it out counter steer and let the magic happen.

Wtf^^ I was expecting drift bible. Speaking of which, Clutch kick isn’t 1 of the 5 initiation techniques in that vid. I just recently started to initiate with clutch kick and honesty, braking drift and feint are better techniques. I will only use kicks to keep the revs up or increase angle as I have been doing.
