How do you make NASCAR interesting?

Add oil

Add paintballs:

Pretty sweet, almost like touring car

best finish ive seen in years. actually made it look likle the old days when there wasnt so much technoology in tires and the track surface. when you had to actually “drive” the car with what you had

it takes a hell of alot more then just track surface and tires to make a car go fast even if you are going in circles.

however dirt circle track is way more involved and entertaining then asphalt.

+1 that was a outstanding last few laps. I would have loved to hear the drivers talking through that.

i wasnt referring to the cars going fast, i was referring to nascar taking away from a drivers ability to drive rather than making everything 100% perfect for them whether it be the track, tires, the aerodynamics of the car etc.

have you watched a bristol or martinsville race the past few years since they were repaved? boring… which is exactly why they are ripping up a 2 year old bristol surface and repaving it…again, back the way it used to be

and i know it has a lot to do with cars as well. they are all way too similar, just have different decals to make them appear different. hence why watching Modifieds and Camping world trucks is 10x more entertaining than cup races.

not trying to argue with you, just making a general comment for the 90% of this place that probably never watches a race

That was some of the worst camera work I’ve ever seen at a race.

“Something cool is about to happen, quick, switch to the rear bumper cam so all you can see is the grill of the trailing car!”

I have a hunch their film crew is probably used to circle tracks. That was a poor decision on the editing work though

I was there for this. It was my first time seeing a Nascar event in person. I definitely enjoyed it.
