'93 Plymouth Sundance lift-back - got for free from auto shop teacher at high school. was donated to the shop to be torn apart. girl owned it before me, never changed the tranny fluid. auto tranny blew after one week on the road. teacher promised me a good car, so he gave me…

'88 Pulsar NX 1.6 auto - rusted as fuck, seized struts in the back, tons of other issues. never saw the road.

'91 Pontiac Tempest 3.1 auto - also free. painted flat black Tremclad with a roller (original clear coat was peeling bad). rusty as HELL, 385,000km on it when i GOT it, and burgundy interior. i was out doing e-brake slides on fresh snow with a buddy when all 4 locked up and i went sideways into a 6" high curb. bent the front left wheel under the car and bent the frame. gave it back to the same auto shop teacher who gave it to me.

'98 Pontiac Trans-Sport Montana - hand me down from the parents. it wasn’t in my name but it was legitimatley my vehicle. covered it in snow and skateboard stickers. friends affectionatley referred to it as Big Red or The Party Van. used to e-brake this thing in the DRY using the foot-brake, and once jumped it on a back country road in caledon (on video) and got 2-3 feet of clear air under all 4 tires. this thing had 303,000km on it by the time i parked it in 2005, and needed about $3000 in repairs. had a party one night, van had been sitting for 9 months, got drunk and me + about 10 others beat the shit out of it with shovels and sledgehammers. got it towed to a wrecker the next day before my parents got home.

'90 Nissan 240SX hatch - $1000. clutch blew while driving it home from buying it. never fixed clutch cause the body and frame were rusted beyond repair. parted out, still have some parts from it laying around.

'92 Nissan 240SX hatch - rolling shell. $900. had big plans for it, but didn’t have the money to match the plans. sold it a few months later for pretty much the same price.

'90 Infiniti M30 - bought with blown tranny for $800. planned on swapping Z31 tranny + drive-train in. lost good paying job, got shitty paying job, sold car for $1300 since they are rare in canada.

'87 Mazda RX-7 TII - drove for 3 months before original motor blew. swapped in new JDM motor and never finished install. car is still sitting in my driveway, and is FOR SALE!!! (shameless plug)

'95 Dodge Caravan - given to me for free by aunt and uncle. 300,000km, generic mid-90’s chrysler tranny problems, dirty as hell interior (aunt and uncle have 4 messy kids). van was dark green, painted flat white flames down driver’s side, tons of stickers again. headgasket blew just over a month after i got it, didn’t bother fixing it and went 6 months without a car until i bought…

'95 Volkswagen Jetta GLX VR6 - current daily.

i’m looking to sell my 7 and get back into 240’s before spring, than selling my Jetta. so this book has more chapters to come!
