Let me guess… the return period on the TV you bought just expired?
Will you honestly be able to see the difference between 1080p and 1080i on a 50" screen? I’ve heard that you can’t. I’ve heard you need to get into the 60+" size for 1080p to start showing it’s value.

To tell you the truth I’m looking at a 56" sammy for a great price and it’s the newer model so the height of the overall set is shorter…and much nicer looking

no. i didn’t buy one, but now i’m tempted.
DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG. I have recently seen two 42" samsungs and they were both horrible quality. Just .02 from my recent experience
thats becasue the 42" uses a crappy screen compared to all the sets that are larger.
its an entry level set that should never be sold. advertise it cheap, bring in customers, and then up sell them to atleast the samsung 46" that uses better parts.
the problem is when shop at CC you get people that dont know their heads from their ass. they tried to sell me this set, when i asked them about “black grass” he look at me like i was from mars.
My dad would probably buy it. Ill run it by him…
