They probably think you are a leo. I bet you win a lot of races…
Stupid AWD + hakka knock offs make it so hard to lose grip.
I totally forgot, came out of a movie a couple weeks back and saw some kid hooning about in a Celica next to Regal (In Henrietta/Rochester). I decided to enter the same lot he was in with some gusto in the truck, good 55-60mph sideway snow boiling off the rear end as he and his girlfriend sat there in disbelief. Went around them once and headed home. I’m sure that was an odd change of pace in their night.
Sounds like you guys drive like ass monkeys more than ass clowners.
I am a noob at driving like an idiot, so it comes natural being a noob and all. LOL
i see people clowning all the time. i do it all the time. a few posters from this thread and myself used to plan out nights achieving complete stupidity at “the track”.
my jeep is a handful with mud tires and a 93 inch wheelbase.
my boss came to me this morning and said “i have never seen a car sideways for that long. you were driving away and i could see your front bumper”
I do it all the time. If you ever saw a DirecTV van drifting in winters past, and now my Time Warner van, that’s me. Also my Tahoe drifts like a champ. The TDI not to great because it doesen’t rev, but enought to have fun. To answer the question, no I don’t see other people doing it.
LMAO. This is pure win…but I dunno if publicly posting that you drift work vans is the best idea. :mamoru:
^ LOL
You must have snows because I have shit for traction in the winter.
I run winterforce snows on my crown vic in the rear, decent all seasons in the front.
Traction control for a 98 is damn good when you want it.
And completely off with a button in the glovebox.
Can’t say that I ever do see people ass clowning in the snow. Yep, I’m the only one, atleast when I’m out that is.
fuck it. I do the same thing. I get such dirty looks from people clearing their driveways when they see a big ass van completely sideways coming around the corner. I keep dodging the fleet guy at our monday meetings because he keeps trying to get new tires for the van. It doesn’t have enough power to slide properly with good tires.
That’s dedication to fun.
X…
Supposed to be getting 5-10" of snow here in NC tonight…Roads will be empty, I will be tearing it up.
Yesterday I saw a guy in front of me wave at me, point to the intersection he was about to go through, slide sideways through the intersection, lose control and spin out… I don’t know who it was. A silver mazda 6. I don’t think he hit the curb but he came close.
YAMBAG!
HAHAHAH. Wipeouts are funny as it is, but to have drawn attention to his siqqq skills beforehand…LMAO!
Wasn’t me. And Yambag has a light green 6 doesn’t he?
I don’t even know if anyone on here has a normal 6 in silver anymore. The other guy with the silver speed6 sold it, too. :dunno:
maybe he wanted to make sure he didnt hit you lol
I was millimeters from spinning yesterday about 1/8 mile from my house. On the turn I drift every snowing morning got just a little too sideways. Had it full lock just feathering that gas and barely got it to come back. Would have felt like an ass looping it going 15 mph practically in my driveway. I wouldn’t have hit the curb or anything, but you still feel like a fail when you have to 3 point turn your way out of a bad drift, especially with a neighbor laughing at you.
