Seriously whoever knows how to fix this. Gets a beer or something I just need to get a damn radio station in my car.
I have a alpine headunit if it matters.

:dunno:
did you plug in your antenna wire to the head unit??
yeah I plugged in the wire. my car has 2 factory antennas (rear window and mast) only the mast one will fit in the headunit.
well… how is the mast? does the pwr ant still work right? was it ever replaced? are the wires still connected in the trunk? could they have come loose while you had the whole trunk apart? (assuming we are talking about the Legend) if you’re not picking up any stations, you don’t need a booster you need a signal…
Nope all wires are tight etc. Masts fine its not a power ant its just a shorter s2000 style one.
Well I just need something to get some stations in my car lol
i think i have a aftermarket antenna adapter, it hooks up to both antenna’s and then goes into any head unit
just get sirius, problem solved
hes to cheap he always wants something for nothing
Sirius FTW! I got mine on ebay for $40. It was already activated so I haven’t needed to pay for a subscription yet.
What’s the frequency of the station? A tuned antenna might help.
There is some sort of power amped ant in your car. are you powering the blue wire on the aftermarket harness?
Honda mostly used standard ones untill '05. But for whatever reason there is 2 chances are one is made by delphi. witch would use a smaller one
2’2" - 2’ 8" will work from 108Mhz-88Mhz as long as it is reflecting on your car.
No thanks I had it before wasn’t a fan not alot of rap on there.
OMG yes your so right cause you know eevrything about me. :tool::finger2:
Just looking for b94,wamo,kissfm,the x, dve.
What you mean reflecting on my car? I don’t think I have the blue wire hooked to anything because its for power antenna which I don’t have. But my antennas are standard size and the smaller size.
are you picking up any stations at all or just static? if it’s just static, then you have a problem. Either the tuner, the antenna, or the cabling. Not very often an alpine losses it’s tuner.
pull the radio, take a stripped length of wire (a coat hanger if you have to) slide it into the centermost part of the ant receptacle. we use to run beat up pos radios on a bench with just a piece of stripped wire down the center and could pick up stations. if that works, then you know it’s the antannea or the cabling… OR buy an antennea from advance auto, plug it into the radio and see how it works. you gotta start trouble shooting. (obviously return the antenna after words…
maybe bigger one :dunno:
LMFAO Jeff is hilarious :bowrofl:
its just rule of thumb with ant’s about the length
as for the blue wire, it may be for a “power antenna”. but it may have a “powered antenna”
hook it up try it on both ant’s
one last shot:dunno:
nah maybe when I get tv in the car I’ll get one of those:)
