The Air Idle Control valve in my SR20DET does not work at all. Whats the easiest way to chance it out for another one?
Anyone know where i can get one new or used?
You have to remove all the wiring on the intake, remove the fuel lines and throttle cable, intercooler pipe to throttle body, drain the coolant, remove the hoses to the intake and runners and unbolt the runners from the block. You can get another gasket from the dealer if you need one.
The AAC valvle takes in coolant to open an air bypass valve.
