sr idle will go from like 5oo to like 700, back and fourth
what could it be ?

I get this occasionally too and for having a small leak in my intake. Im swapping intake manifolds and going with a metal screw, while my intakes off how can i take apart this box and clean it up or replace parts so it works flawlessly?
Remove the IACV, try to preserve the gasket (unless you plan to get another one), clean the shit out of it with throttle body cleaner or whatever to get as much gunk out.
Pretty straight forward; I did mine this summer.
Clean the shit out of your intake manifold while you’re at it.
i always thought my idle air control valve was messed up untill i found out ur not supposed to use the dohc maf from a ka on a redtop. now i have a srmaf and it doesnt jump up and down when i press the break or anytime .
im using an SOHC maf from a ka
and i would most likley need some help with cleaning out my IACV or my intake manifold, i duno wtf im doing lol
