when i pop my tranny out of gear the idle will drop to about 500 sometime 400 rpm, recently cleaned up my K&N airfilter and had an oil change, does this mean that i need to clean up my idle air control valve or is it something else…whether the car is warm or cold it does this periodically not all the time
any ideas?
ah yes, idle-dipping-disease. Both my S13 did it. one still does.
I’ve read a bit re: this, the one solution I remember was that (someone else) cleaned alll they’re electrical connections/plugs and re-attacthed them (in the engine bay)

is that all the plugs and connections like your MAF and the other miscelanious things throughout the engine bay? and how do u clean them
