sell the car. the best way and say sold as is or it might come back to you
salt isnt a stain, its salt, it disolves
throw mat on driveway
turn on hose
bast carpets till durt stops coming out
scrub with aq brush and a shitload of soap
blast with hose till soap stops coming out
soak interior carpet with a pop bottle of water
vacuum
repeat
repeat
repeat
throw down a load of soab
scrub the fuck out of it
throw down another litre of water
vaccum
park the car outside and let it run for a 1/2 hour with the windows cracked slightly, leaving the floormats standing on edge against the center console
make sure the heater is on 100% floor, and the heat level is 100% hot
should result in perfectly clean and dry carpets (vehical in motion = heat wicking out thru the steel floors, which is why you PARK the car to dry the carpets)
what do you do with the coffee stain?
shampoo the carpet for coffee stains. Or the carpet stain remover.
Take it to delta sonic.

thats what i was thinking. you got the salt out, now your rug has a coffee stain, and the car smells like folgers.
bleach works really good
and… well since salt dissolves in water… might as well use water then vacuum it out and then use more water til its gone
