Story:
I get a frantic phone call from my neighbor “Hey, someone just hit your truck. Their car is sideways in the street and there is fluid all over the road.”
I get home to discover while parked in front of my house, in a residential zone where the speed is 30 mph, a 17 teen year old girl decided to introduce the front end of her parents beat ass minivan to the drivers side corner of my recently purchased Ranger. She hit me hard enough that she tore the front wheel completely off of her minivan, pushed my truck 4 feet backwards and onto the grass landing next to the street (No curbs thank god), and slide an additional 50 feet past my Ranger. The skird mark is still there and will be for quite a while.
Long story short. 5800 in damages which includes suspension damage. I have a 08 Dakota Magnum to tool around in, thank you GEICO. She admitted fault and I get a brand new front end.
I am still bitter about this as it happened mid-May. I have been parking my Two on the Front Lawn ever since when the weather is nice out.
She was actually holding a cell phone in her fucking hand. Cop says to her “Where you on the phone?” She started crying and said “No, a bee flew in the window. I tried to hit it then all of a sudden I hit something…”
Yeah, she hit something.
I know, right. Pisses me off too. I’ll have them tomorrow. I am just venting at this point.
