So I went to pic up the civic hatch from MyHonda1 today, I borrowed the trailer from my wife’s pastor at the church and off I go. I get the car on there by myself and start making my way home. I get about a mile from my house and think to myself if I should go straight down McKinley pkwy. or turn and go down Abbott rd. to my house, both ways are the same distance. I decided to go down Abbott. I pull up to the light on Abbott and Red jacket and stop because it red. The traffic at the other side of the light is also stopped, I am the first one at the light and start to go when it turns green.
Here is where the fun starts. As I am heading straight I notice this person making a left coming straight for me. I can see she is texting on her phone and not paying attention. I screamed at her out the window as she getting closer, BAM bitch hits me hard. I had my belt on but got whipped lashed across the seat. I get out screaming at her" What the Fuckkkk are you doing", she holding the wheel crying, I tell her to calm down and ask her if she is ok. She T boned the back of the truck, trailer and front of the civic.
I’m so fucking pissed, my back and neck are killing me and now the car I bought is fucked. Luckily she had insurance, I called the cops they were there in a few mins. took the report and she was to blame.
Now her insurance will be paying for my dads truck, the trailer, and the car i bought. I am also thinking about going to the hospital to get some x rays done to be safe.
My question is since the car was already a rebuilt title/salvage will I still get what the car is worth? The car can be fixed, I am taking to the collision shop tomorrow with the truck and trailer.
trhats unfortunate, not sure about the salvage situation, but if you need a body shop pm me, ive sent alot of my engineering buddys and work buddies to the shop, very reasonable
so she had to make a 90 degree turn? I don’t know the intersection but I can’t imagine she was going TOO fast, so at least it coulda been worse. glad to hear your ok
