I have an sr20 red top engine. I bought a bost controller for 100 bucks. Its a manual one that has to stay in the engine. I turned the boost knob many times to tune it, but when i finished it was maxed out at 9psi on my autometer. How do i get this 12 psi out of the turbo, that I here everyone talking about on fourms and google? Is my car governed? do i need a chip? Please help?

is your stock boost “map” soliniod hooked up? it will regulate boost.
the manual valve goes inline to the wategate.
yeah you definitely hooked it up wrong…
and be incredibly careful when you set your boost, over boosting can easily blow up your entire motor
I think you want to decrease boose. Drinking and driving is bad. Where is the grammer police?

make sure it’s on the right vaccume line (turbo actuator).
