Adam, how fast could you turn out a set of them? I love building things, but I assume mass produced off the shelf ones are cheaper than materials and labor time.
I would have assumed it would be cheaper and easier to fabricate up a new set of mounts for a shock that already does what you want it to, from a different application, but I loved watching that.
I need to make something on the lathe again, probably the steering rack to tie rod adapters for the baja. Forgot how fun it was.
On a manual lathe?..not fast enough to make it worthwhile on anything other than something completely off the wall obscure(AKA vintage race chassis or some ferrari shit)
Yeah, just buy the kits if you need it. Turret center manufacturing FTMFW when it comes to this crap.
