I painted under my car with that stuff, and it got on my face, it was a BITCH to get it off.
that stuff sticks to ANYTHING its like tar/paint. if you paint with it make sure you dont wear anything you want to ever use again.

mine’s flatblack and i love it, i’ll never change the colour, tho i may paint it jesse james black for an even look, the hood is kinda stripey, but i don’t have a recent pic to show that.

the car in this pic is frotn half krylon, and back trimclad, thats the reason for the 2 colours.

how much paint did u use roughly to paint the whole car the first time? how many cans was it and how much did the cost come out to?
ps. Forest green makes it look like an army car. I don’t like it. It’s all about the flat black, madmax badass look.

what other colours does this “rubberized” paint come in?
Would it be wise to do your engine bay with this when you remove the KA and prepping it for SR? Is it a good rust inhibitor? Also, I’m considering doing my interior with this stuff, I think I heard someone here say that they did theirs. I’m thinking of de-clothing the doors and filling in the cloth part with this stuff (unless what’s underneath the cloth already matches) And I’m gonna use this stuff on the EVIL glove compartment of DOOM :lol: That and the back, since it’s gray and not black like the rest of the car.
One question thou… should I remove the panels I intend to paint, and paint them, or tape over stuff and paint inside the car?
yes degrease and paint the enginebay or it’ll look like mine did. I like rustcheck primer and a self etching for bare steel after it’s been ground smooth.
Rockergaurd comes in beige or black at the normal suppliers but i belive can be tinted to the colour you want. That is if you wanna spend the money
The car originally took 8 cans of trimclad to paint plug primer, i sandblasted the entire car before i painted…junkyard dog it was.
engine bay after 4th motor swap

If you will be doing body work on it, then rubberize it afterwards and it will hide all your mistakes.
Flatblack will show the imperfections more.

550g can x 6cans = 3.3kg
You Cant Paint over The Rubber, It Flexes Different than Paint and will cause the Paint to flake off and look like poop.
You can get tinted Rubber paint in any color you want.
Just contact Rhino Liner Pickup Truck Bed Liner and Order a 3.5kg can of it.
