it sprays like a normal rockergaurd spray, you just need the “gun” and the air compressor.
Gorgeous. Wanna help me do mine like that?? LOL. Hopefully mine will look half as good as that after the winter is over.
… both things i don’t have, but i do have this friend whos constantly busy with those tools
oh i wrote to a company to see if they could tint it for me, i’ll post what they say.
Lol, they wrote back, and for the areosol cans i would need to buy 10,008 cans for them to tint it for me … i asked about the regular one applied witha spray gun i’ll post again what they say.
… looks like the hope of rubberized red is slowly fading away.
Hey Nik, looks like you might have a few cans left over.
yup, just a few … any cars out there want rubberized red paint?
… i’m looking for about 2,500 of you.
Hey if you need 2,500 people, just market it as adding 25 HP to the wheels. I’m sure there are plenty of people who would dump 16 cans of that on there car!
Or you could repaint your home?
Hahahaha…
you should talk to those owners of those mini’s(nissan hardbody/Mazda B2200) and get a group buy going for it. They can paint their bedliners rubberized red. And, I always see flat black/rubberized nissan hardbody’s, so you can always convince those people thats its the new thing to do.
believe they are talkin about this…its 6.99 at CT…therez that other cheaper one for 3.09 but i believe its unpaintable. i’ve used it to paint snowboards in the past…works great
Yup, I have this waiting in my room for the rockers when I change the oil. Looks pretty good to me!
does anybody have a an S14 painted in this stuff? Cause I don’t know how that would look…
BUT WHO’S GONNA TRY IT?
This is more of a ghetto winter beater type paint job, it would look similar to a flat black s14 if you’ve seen one.
this isnt somthing you do to a s14 unless its your beater lol
this rockerguard dosnt come off easy
how ever ive painted now 2 cars with it and its pimp shit just make sure you buy the cans with the red caps it seems to apply much finer and nicer
Werd…
Is it just me or does the hood just not look even like everything else… Does this occur to on the trunk?
Another question… Is there a way to make it look more even?
I am in the process of getting a new driver side door… so i am looking to practice on my old door…
It should all look the same if you can apply it evenly. It’s all in the spraying technique. Try not to overlap etc. or it will look like the hood (spoty with bloches.)
damn…rubberized flat black looks good to me…no need to wax or worry about scratches 8)
So has anyone done rubberized beige yet?
it would look alright if someone had the ugly brown interior.
If thats your preferance go with just plain flat black primer. Rubberized Flat black needs to be removed first, and that costs well over $1000. If its a temorary thing, paint it Flat black primer, Like me. I’m going to do that to my beater as soon as I eliminate all my rust spots. Rubberized is something you do when you know you want it that was for good.
