Actually, you don’t flat black primer the car, first you sand, then you primer, then you spray paint the car flat black. Or if you just want to use primer, you have to use primer with sealer added, otherwise your car will rust to shit.
what if I use Krylon “Rust Tough” Flat Black?
Apparently it’s rust-proof, but you’re right about the sanding, is also required.
The reason you need to paint over the primer is to seal it otherwise the car will rust. I’ll talk to you tonight, we can go to ct and I’ll show you what to use.
someone should just offer a flatblack/rubberized rattlecan paint service. make some extra cash for those spring mods 8)

well is this rubberized flat black sandable? cuz like some thick stuff tend to clog up tha sandpaper.

ok im on the bandwagon now, i think i will be goin to ct on the weekend to buy some flat black, i dont wanna rubberize it tho kuz i want to paint it later…i jus want the eye turning for now…plus i just did a 92 bumper and its primer grey…will i have to sand down my old paint? and then primer, and then flat black?
