For the past 3 years now my hud wouldn’t come on when its cold out. After the car warms up it would finally light up. So over the weekend I decided to try to fix it. I followed this post:
It actually works now. I left for work at 6am tuesday morning and it lit up right away. Havn’t had a single problem since. Its kind of a pain in the ass to solder it, but definitely worth it. Now i actually know how fast im going 
my hud does not work, as well as none of my dash lights or odometer/trip. did you have the same problem or was it just your hud not working?
it was the whole dash not lighting up. and yeah the odometer didn’t work either.
