lol…weird.
i still say id be all over those hot bent over broads.
514 years ago - Modern man discovers the western hemisphere. The world is not flat?! (yes I know other Greek scholars discovered that the world was round and calculated the circumferance :P)
220 years ago - Man discovers electricity
50 years ago - Man discovers the DNA structure
37 years ago - The Internet started
2000 years ago - Man was told by god how all life began and how we should live our lives.
If people in the 1930’s heard of stories of Aliens attacking America over the radio and believed it
wow… 2 pages of drama… who would of seen that one coming?
and  @ the chicks bent over
It is often suggested by those who have no religious belief that religion is a response to humanity’s need to simply stop being confused, or to the fear of death (and the concomitant desire not to die). By defining a realm outside of life (the spiritual realm), these needs are fulfilled by providing a meaning, purpose, and hope for our otherwise pointless, directionless, and finite lives.
100% right.

JEG still doesn’t get it but I doubt he ever will. You want a good example as to why you get shit on and no one else does. Take SC_Steve. He probably has very similar beliefs compared to you but he speaks intelligently about things and DOES NOT MAKE UNINTELLIGENT JUDGEMENTS about things that he does not know about things. You make such outlandish comments about other people, other religions, other ideas based on crap it makes me want to puke.
I highly doubt you even know what the true theory of evolution states or even says, you just assume based on your own spoon-fed lies.
yo, check this out:
so your last girlfriend jumped the fence…huh
JEG - while reading these posts, I get the impression that you’re either paranoid, self-centered, or a bit egocentric. I highly doubt that anyone is checking WHO posted your comments when they quote you and comment. Don’t take it so personally. Most people believe in some form of evolution. You are in the minority here. Consider that before posting, maybe?
Why is it so hard for Christians to give God credit for evolution, and just move on? “He” created everything, science, living beings, our every thought… right?
I also find it a common thing among Christians to act high and mighty, and always very confident that they have the end-all truthful answer to these worldly questions. They also seem quite militant and lash out with rude and brash comments, which seems (to me) to be the exact opposite of the lifestyle they are supposedly leading. Just my 2 cents.
simple example of evolution:
people have (in general) progressively gotten taller over time
caused by: basically, that way you look at a chick with legs that dont stop. its reasonable to assume that tall people are slightly more likely to find a mate / have children due to this animal attraction… causing the human race to slowly get taller over time
there ya go, a small bit of proof that evolution happens
cliff notes: tall people are generally considered to be sexier, the human race is getting taller, its not a coincidence
haha- i think u typed this in the wrong thread
lol. i only date hot chicks.
Anyone here ever read angels and demons?
i still dont get how GOD himself was created… and it musta been fucking boring just chillin in an empty universe untill he created everything
and by watching SG-1 on sci-fi, i have come to tealize that to be an energy based life form, you at one point had to be carbon based, and then eventualy get to be so intelligent and powerfull that you have to ascend to being an energy based life form
so where the hell did god come from ? the earth wasnt created yet, so if he was once human, that supports the idea that theres life on other planets
Noooo…you said
Then you tried to remove yourself from confrontation by saying “not to turn this into a debate…”
Which is about as silly as posting “Well I don’t think dark skinned people are evolved as much as whites anyway…not to turn this into a debate”
 That is an excellent point.
maybe, like in the book I mentioned, science/evolution and religion are two ways of explaining the same thing? they contradict AND support each other.
I mean, for example, the big bang theory that created the universe was another way of saying “let there be light”/genesis. You got to remember that back when christianity was born, science wasnt the same as it is today… so to explain something, they looked on to a higher power/greater meaning… know what I mean? The bible isnt meant to be very literal
kind of like modern science… it’s always contradicting itself when new discoveries are made (ex, first they say that X is bad for you… then only to find out that it’s very good for you).
In a way, you can say that both science and religion are correct in their own right.
I dont know… just food for thought
I only have problems with people who think it is (and those people don’t believe in evolution)
the problem is that people think that the bible is just how it is, and thats it … end of story
but if god created the universe, he created science, because while he was creating everything, he decided how atoms work in the process, he decided how genetics work etc etc
this is why i dont get why science is a fraud according to some religious people…
if you think that EVERYTHING that happened is in that one little book, your wrong, because even a crappy set of encyclopedias takes up more space on the shelf, and they leave out ALOT
so by comparison, it has to be assumed that the bible leave out TONS of shit too
I agree with you… but you have to take into account when the bible was written. I mean, the earth was still flat according to science. Remember… it’s not written by “God”… but it was written by common men (who also didnt know much about science back then). Gravity was just being realized (the romans with the aquaducts for example)
hell, even 200 years ago had you mentioned an atom people would be looking at you like you had 3 arms it’s all progress
