Katrina was a 3 at landfall.
150mph winds strong cat 4. It weakened a bit going over Cuba but still has the opportunity to become a Cat 5 in the Gulf. This is not good.

this should be fun…i leave on a road trip to Galveston TX tomorrow morning…was supposed to drive through LA…guess not now…that just added a couple hours to my trip. This should be interesting.
Woahhhh. This thing blew the fuck up today. Still sitting at 140MPH sustained winds WHILE interacting with the land of Cuba. Way moreso than they predicted as well. I don’t think they foresaw this thing getting to cat 4 strength let alone a strong cat 4.
Not looking good for the gulf coast.
