little freaky, ending could have been better. Kinda like 28days later and resident evil but not as dramatic.
I saw it Last Monday, Sneak Peek. Good overall movie…I thought it was amazing how they made the city look so real. Yes the Shelby at the beginning was awesome…you could hear the nice S/C whine. Yeah I thought it ended a little quick, but the ending was decent. I would have enjoyed a few more fight/zombie scenes as well. But for doing a movie where you are pretty much alone the entire movie I though Will Smith did a great job.
i liked it, but i didn’t like how someone showed up, i would have liked it if he would have been alone the whole time. I really liked the 6 minute preview of why so serious though. That movie looks badass.

I think they left out a few things that would make the movie better. like explaining more of what went wrong with the cure for cancer and how it developed into a virus like it did. and what it actually does to the body…
I beleive what happened is that scientists found a cure for cancer, then the government found a a way to change the cure into a bio weapon and it broke out accidently.
and the movie still didnt set in stone if his family died or not… but he did say in the one part of the movie that his daughter “was” a certain age, as if she did die.
ya, it would have been better if he was the only one in new york and another didnt show up

I agree…there was a big gap between the cure and where the movie “started”. They tried to explain things through dreams and whatnot but not enough where the viewer had a full understanding of what was going on.
I loved the movie. I had actually seen an older movie from the 70’s called “Omega Man” with Charlton Heston which was based off of the same book as “I am Legend”. In both movies the plot was that many of the people on earth had died and the only remaining ones were “zombies”. So I was pretty interested to see the new one and I must say it was my favorite movie of the year, right up there with the newest Die Hard.
I felt the same way, that part was so sad.

i think they could have ended it alot better than how they did but im pretty sure his family did die after that. plus he said her name “was” marley. i would like to know how the virus started as well.

It really was a no brainer…just observing would answer those questions, the so called miracle cure had side effects, very nasty ones at that, obviously someone jumped the gun on administering the “cure” to all the people it could and i’m sure patients were willing to have a needle stuck in them for such a cure. It never “developed” into a virus because it already was one…just genetically engineered…but we as man are not God…so we are bound to fail somewhere. Pigmentation of the skin is lost, side affects similar to rabies…extremely heightened agression, loss of social skills(as said in the movie) pretty much making a human function like an animal. Look up rabies if you need a better idea. It wasn’t anything the government did, when Will said “God didn’t do this…we did” he meant in our strive to change the world…the way things are…an attempt to be God…we ultimately failed and now it’s royally screwing the human race. The ones who had the cure administered became infected and either A. Died off B. Mutated and spread the infection…it eventually became airborne just like any evolving virus and started infecting humans without direct contact…whereas canines didn’t catch the airborne strain.
ya i knew that. what im saying that is if they would have put it in the movie it would have made it better i think
pretty good movie. it was weird how he lasted 3 plus years and then messed up and died in like 5 days…???
i liked it alot. awesome story
aside from the CG characters and them taking a movie that should have been 2.5 hours long and making it 1.5 hours long
Eh it wasn’t really his fault…he planned on dying when he went to attack the darkseekers after his dog died…if the woman would have never went to his house before daylight broke they wouldn’t have figured out where he lived
