I/C Full length OEM fit replacement frame rails

I would be interested in a driver’s a nd passenger side rail for an s13

We should have some ready by this weekend, possibly next. Since this is all coming out of pocket and after work/school. We are also taking the time to ensure the best possible fitment (we have a half cut to test fit them on) as well as making an installation guide to help you attack some of the fun stuff we’ve encountered during the removal of the sample rails. If/When these start selling, a good chunk of the revenue generated will be going towards progressing R and D of other much needed restoration items such as quarters and rocker panels.

As far as pricing on these parts, The frame rails will start out at 250.00 for the set…or 125.00 each. If I’m not mistaken, that’s about 25$ more than Nissan charged 3 years ago. Not too shabby considering the very last genuine Nissan 240sx frame rail sold for nearly 300.00 on Ebay, Iirc. If anybody knows different, please chime in.

They should sell VERY well that that price. I need to drop by and check these out sometime, good work guys.

TREMELS!! Long time! Definitely get in touch with myself or Adam!

At that price, I’d be in. Keep up the good work guys!

Just curious but these are frame rails for the whole car front to rear right? Would you guys do installs/welding as well onto cars?

Proper rocker repair +1 imo

These are the front main section… We have talked about installing, but have not reached a final decision yet… As we would like to focus on making shit instead of installing shit, lol
But again. We have not reached a final decision

And don’t worry guys. Rockers and quarter panels are to come…
OEM metal wide body fenders would be cool… Hey now…

sounds promising… good stuff. Yeah i dont have the means to weld my own stuff or put a car up on a hoist and what have you… so i figured if im gona get something like this done it would have to be done by a shop anyways… Im sure 90% of the guys on here would be in the same boat… and some of our frames are banged up bent and need professional attention that an amature with a welder wont be able to cope with anyways lol

You don’t necessarily need a hoist for the install, but it does help. With regards to installs, there are quite a few areas of concern that must be addressed. Starting with the interior, the carpet must obviously be pulled back. The sound deadening may have to be removed, as it will most likely defect from the heat of the welding. But the biggest concern of these installs, bar none, would be the fuel and brake lines. From my 7 years as a repair tech (I don’t say mechanic, as I am unlicensed) it is all too common that these rot out on older vehicles, especially ones that are prone to rust. If you attempt to disturb a rusted line, 9 times out of 10 it will rupture (40 psi helps the process along too). Welding near these lines requires extreme caution, on my very first 240…someone had boxed in the frame rails, and a piece of spatter burned a hole in the rear brake line. Don’t think I say these things to frighten or deter anyone from doing the install themselves…as an avid hobbyist I full well encourage it. I do, however, want everyone to install these and still have all your fingers and a car hat isn’t on fire. If you are well aware of what you are working around, then no such problems should arise.

Speaking briefly about chassis alignment, there is more than adequate information in the FSM to install these and still have a straight install. It never hurts though, to have the alignment of your chassis checked by a professional. All of the information briefly touched on in this post, and much more info will be included in an install guide that will be posted, once we have a chance to install them. It will include step by step instructions, safety precautions and quirks to watch out for, as well as pictures for visual reference.

i would buy 2 rails right now…

We are hoping to have a set out by the weekend, mid next week…trial fitted and ready to go. Again, we do apologize for the delay, we are trying to make as much time as we can between work and school to get these out there.

thanks for a great contribution to the S-Chassis Community, it’s actually a perfect endeavour to go into since there’s no competitors and lots of enthusiasts needing mint frame restoration!

it’s awesome to see people fabricating parts like this which nissan no longer has on the market, we all know how many people could use new frame rails…
Not to mention its also cool supporting the “community” instead of overpaying for shit at a nissan dealership. GJ

aiiggghhhht then

have you guys consider making S13 wheel wells?

We have considered making a vast array of hard to find products for these cars, but we don’t want to get too far ahead of ourselves. Were trying to squeeze some shop time in this weekend, but while we are on the topic… we may as well discuss. Aside from this short list below, what else would the community like to see?

S13 OEM Fit Frame Rails
S13 Rocker and Quarter Panels
S13 Lower Rad Support
S13 Strut Towers (long term)

S14 OEM Fit Frame Rails
S14 Rocker and Quarter Panels

Also, thank you all very much for all the positive feedback on this topic. It’s nice to see that there are still people out there with decent values, not to mention motivational.

ill take 3

Only if you’re serious. lol
I’d like to keep this thread to serious questions, comments, and concerns only…

S14 floor :frowning: ?
