Nice pick up! Those downpipes are really nice. There’s a guy out here with them. If you ever want to get rid of them let me know

The FMICs are ugly but they perform well. About as good as ERs/AWEs so you might want to keep it and maybe just black out the piping. The CX racing ones suck, they’re worse than stock.

I am still new to the audi world so when you say ER side mounts I don’t know what you are talking about. I am famaliar with AWE. I was also looking at the JHM ones.

ER SMICs for 2.7T S4, A6 and Allroad GROUP BUY!! they are expensive though. I can’t seem to find any logs for these though.

Yeah, those Evolution Raceworks intercoolers was what I was referring to, sorry. Static and I both bought them from that Group Buy. I like them, they fit alright and require less fitting than the RS4 SMICs I had in there before. You should be able to find ER logs on AZ. I just looked for FMIC logs but couldn’t find any. Here are my ERs.

ER SMICs w/ RS4 shrouds + 50/50 meth water.

Static has the baller shrouds and no water meth and his are about the same, but rise about 10* up top.

I don’t have any logs of a front mount car, but I hope to get some soon to see what the difference is. The general consensus is that ERs are better than FMICs, but… for the price of the ER intercoolers I think a better option is just to get a water injection kit. It flattens the IATs out A LOT.

Your FMIC is probably fine though. If you’re concerned about its performance I’d be glad to log your car the next time I’m over that way.

the install on the FMIC on my car is such a hack job but I am very curious to see what a log looks like on it. give me a week or so to get the car on the road then I will hit you up and we can check it out.
