Here is the story……
Back in early summer I needed to find a roommate since I had a 3 bdrm. Apartment and one of my roommates was leaving. I got desperate since my landlord was making the two remaining people make up the one person’s rent. My friend said he had met a nice guy through his best friend and this guy needed a place to live. I met this guy and he seemed very kind. He told me that he was an ex army ranger and that he was injured so they released him. He said that he was currently a manager at Civic Development Group and made enough money to more than cover rent. We let him move in that weekend and he and I shared the cost of groceries. He also told me of a check for backpay was to be sent to him in the near future since his job had messed up his address. Time went on and after a month he hadn’t paid the landlord rent. I asked what was wrong and found out he hadn’t been working much because “he needed time to adjust.” I was pretty nice about this since I understood the fact that he had just moved to the state like 6 months ago. More time went on and nothing had changed. When he did go to work he just spent all his earnings on drugs. He kept telling me that the check would arrive any day but I was getting pissed as I paid for all food and utilities. Near the end of summer my original roommate and I had a ton of stuff stolen from us, but we suspected the new roommates friends. Three months had passed and he was really pissing the landlord off so he said we could move in with his girlfriend and not pay rent since he was having problems getting to work and earning cash. I ended up having to pay his rent on my apartment to get us out of there without major legal consequences. We lived with his girl for half a month and he never did go to work regularly. He had a friend from Jersey come down and live in the same house with us. This friend informed me that my roommate was a liar and should not be trusted. I decided to move into another place with my original roommate. I talked to the guy’s boss after that to see why this check never came as he did still owe me all utilities and rent. The boss said there never was a check and this guy was full of it. More of my DVD’s had disappeared before we moved and I found that he had sold them to a used cd store. So now I have given him 4 months to start paying us back and make a contract promising payment. The fact is that this guy is a psychopath. He owes me $1600 from bills, rent, and stolen stuff. He owes my original roommate $700, $300 of which is stolen cash from her purse. He called me at 5am this morning threatening me not to take legal action and such. He lies to everyone and I actually think he believes his own lies.
What I need is someone more skilled in the electronic information game than I am to find some background info on this guy. I wanna know how much he has scammed and how many times he has been caught. I would also like to know his military history as I am sure every aspect of his life was a lie. Please help me out as I want this guy to go down before someone else ends up in the same situation. He needs to be stopped as he contributes nothing to society other than leaching off of the kind helpful people in this world. Oh, and I know several other people in this town that had a really bad experience with this guy.
