After: (most of that is tire dressing on the tire–I ran out of the good stuff. I don’t particularly like foaming tire dressing). No I didn’t get all of it today. I’ll do that when I have a whole day to detail my car. I just had to get some of it off, because it made me a sad Goobie 
well I didn’t notice that this picture was before I actually washed it. Here I thought it was pretty dirty
So, at first I said oh, it’s rubber and the paint comes off easily with my fingernail so I should be able to take some degreaser and a hard brush and brush it off. Nope.
Then I said I’ll put solvent on it and wipe it off. This became a problem when the paint started to disolve and turn the fender lining white.
And then I said, self, why not just use the clay that worked so well on the paint. And voila, it worked. Of course it took some work, but the clay, sure enough, was the quickest way.
I just don’t have time to do it all today. So, I know people are going “Well I just don’t know, I just don’t know, I DON’T KNOW HOW TO GET THE PAINT OFF WITHOUT DAMAGING THE ACTUAL CARS PAINT AND MY LIFE SUCKS NOW,” but clay really does work. When I say it works I mean it works, most of the time. I really mean it. I’m not singing my swan song for me and clay magic blue bar here. It does wonderful things.
