I have parking lot anxiety

This isn’t even that bad. Well it was worse when I was between my car and the other–it was actually pretty close. Still, it makes me shiver to know that if he had a passenger my bump strips would have been bumped.

And it’s not even as though I own a fancy car. I’m just that particular. Is anybody else like this? hm?

i am like that all the time, no matter whos car i have… i hate when people park next to me. i park all the way in the back as close as i can to the curb as possible

yup so do i, but this kid at my work always parks next to me with his pos hatc. i find it funny cuz he does it on purpous.

I used to park in the very back, but I found out that if somebody has to park next to you they’re in a big hurry. This way at least only one person during the day parks next to me. When it’s a nice car (sometimes) they are nice about parking evenly in the lines.

i do it too…its the fact that i know people have no respect for other peoples property…i work hard for what i got and i dont want anyone fucking with it

i like to park away from the main bunch, if i have no option, i try to park on the other persons pass. side, i figure the drivers side door has 100% chance of being open(if the door works) and i think there is less then 40% of them having a pass.

freakin steelied Luminas

proving that 85% of %ages are made up

i do the same as well, park as far away as i possibly can and hope that no one parks next to me no matter what i’m driving

Just park next to a nice and clean car, if its clean 63% of the time the owner is careful

I was definately paranoid for a while after my rsx got f’d up in a UB parking lot cuz some douchebag couldn’t pull out correctly, even though the damage was minimal. Now I’m pretty indifferent about it

I’ve pretty much just accepted door dings as a fact of life. Turns out that whether I’m paranoid or don’t think twice about parking next to the cart return, I get the same dings. :gotme:

BTW, hotrodkid much respect for you for taking so much pride in what you’ve got and taking care of it, even if it isn’t the flashiest car. It shows that you appreciate what you’ve got and I’d be willing to bet you worked hard to get it?

Hotrodkid didn’t reply here.

i didnt say that it was a proven %, if i was to guess thats what i would say…

At work, I always park way out in the farthest spots from the building. Regardless of how many open spots there are closer to the building. When I park way out there are a few other cars,t hat always park there too. But they are there every day as well. I know that my car is safe out there pretty much.

Plus, I figure the extra walking is good for me.

at UB, i park wherever there is a space, but if i have a choise, i try and get a spot somehwere on the edge and park next to either some1 that has a nice truck or some1 with a nice car (if i have to park next to some1). usually, i try not to drive my R/T to UB unless its really nice out. as far as work goes, i have my own sopt that every1 knows is mine in the back of the lot. no1 ever gets near me. when im driivng my beater, its a pice of shit anyway and its so freekin huge that i dont really care where i aprk so i usually go for a close spot if possible.

With the MR2, I’m quite anal as far as where I park.

With the Volks and the Honda, I park wherever is convenient…

Part of the reason why i dont feel like owning anything nice around here.

it doesnt matter where you are there are assholes everywhere

How about the asshats that park diagonal and take up two parking spots…WTF!!! That pisses me off :shoot:
