Attn mods: Keep this in Car Chat for a bit…

Old. And there’s no hills like that thank god.

+1 for the women who jumped out of their cars tho.

AAAAAAAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA

wow, the woman trying to stop the car by standing on the snow and pushing backwards! ahaha…

i hope taht doesnt happen aswell

you know what… if you are on ice and you hit the brakes… guess what happens?

YOU SLIDE!!!

crank the wheel, give her some stick and kick that back end out the swing out of the way… frig…

OH NO!!

THERE IS SOMETHING IN FRONT OF ME AND IT IS SLIPPERY OUT AND I DONT THINK I CNA STOP IN TIME…

LET’S HIT THE BRAKES AND STAY ON THEM SO THAT THE WHEELS CANT TURN

brilliant…

mind you in a panic it is hard to do otherwise.

Remember we had the ice storm a couple weeks back?

Well I entered a parking lot and didn’t think twice about condition in the lot.

My car just started to slide towards a truck trailer (I came within feet of
hitting it) and my instant reaction was just to crank the wheel and hit the brakes.

People panic, and when they do, they don’t think clearly.

Yeah I saw this on tv…

hahah remember when gautam almost got smoked by a tarus at a meet last year

hahaha

i like the guy with the lisp hes like “its like a chain reaction”

lmfao thats pretty funny where is it around?

It was a Pontiac Grand Prix. :slap:

And it wasn’t funny. :squint:

That’s how I crashed my mom’s car last winter, luckily I was only doing about 30-40 at the time so nobody got hurt and the car had only cosmetic damage. Now I know better and steer my way out of slides rather than braking hard and crashing.

why the hell would u jump outta the car ur going so slow already. more risk in gettin hurt jumping out

I drove into toronto and back out again last night.
The only TRUELY scary part was the “ramp” that joins the 427 to the gardiner eastbound.
it was too cold for salt so the whole ramp was covered in ice and the wind was so strong it actually pushed me almost into the barrier.
Thankfully I kept my wits about me and just SLIGHTLY corrected with the wheel and kept the gas slightly on.

NOT FUN.

Then when I came home at like 1am the wind and made a whole bunch of “snow dunes” in the road way, I got stuck, had to back up 100 meters and then hit it at 50 to get through :frowning:

Fucking people bailing out of their cars like its gonna blow-up or fall off a cliff. Stay in, get hurt and sue the city for negligence. some lady was holding onto her car door surfing the curb.

Dumb ass’.

Must be Maple Leaf Fans

must be fans of whatever sports team you like

HA!

whoops…

down teh drain this one goes
