For my apartment. It has a special ‘nub’ on the right side that I cant seem to find anywhere. its $65 for a new key set from the office. the key does not say ‘do not duplicate’
anyone know where I can buy a blank as my roommate lost his key. I’m sure any place can cut it, just finding the blank with the nub has been impossible.
the key has “25-12 KB” on one side and “BEST patented by kara” on the other. I tried google and he has visited a few places I guess

i know the do not duplicate part doesn’t mean much… I’ve had them that have said that before copied.
But it doesn’t say “do not duplicate”. The problem is the security ridge in it.
I had no luck at my apartment, so we ended up going out and buying a new deadbolt for our door, and just swapped it back before we moved. It’s an easy $25 solution to your problem.
Go to a few locksmith shops instead of harware stores

Niagara lock has been good to me, ofcourse your forever away from niagara falls, so that dont help you

he has called a lock smith. i am going to send him to one. ill report back in a week or so after spring break.
if anyone can find blank online that would be extra sweet.

my apartment key is the same. ive looked around to try to get an extra key made.
Its terribly hard. no one carries that type of key.
