matched lock sets

so… need to change some knobs and dead bolts, would like one key fits all. I know the sets are labeled, and you can find more than one set so multiple doors have the same key. poked around @ some home stores… I need 5 yes FIVE sets for five doors, standard knob and deadbolt sets. nothing special, standard brass color. not after spending a MINT on super high end stuff, just some bump resistant stuff that’s not complete garbage. I have searched and come up with minimal results for the criteria that I need multiple matched sets. Found doorknob sets with no deadbolts @ home stores also.

Alot of the home stores can/will re-key them for you also if they dont have 5 matching sets. Thats what I did, I think it was a couple bucks for the rekeying.

you can try ABC locksmith on seneca and union

theres no locksmith at seneca and harlem. you must mean ABC at seneca and union

ha yea thats what i meant, i knew it was across from southgate but said harlem for some reason

These work really well, and don’t cost too much. I started using them in my rental property instead of having to change out locks every year or whenever a tenant moves out.

It’s nice because you can program your lock with a key from a family members house, so both houses can use the same key…

You can get locks repinned to add bump resident pins

I purchased one of these for our main entry door and it is awesome. I will never use a regular keyed lock again.

Lowes rekeyed my 4 doors when we bought the knobs and deadbolts for free…which could have been because I spent $3500 that day haha. The guy just requested that they were all the same brand but other than that just pick what we want and come back in 20 min.

getting one once I replace the one door, just want all new knobs as most of them are antique and junk. that’s in the long term plan come spring, this is today/tomorrow we just closed on the house now plans.

I grabbed one of those knobs, but didn’t see deadbolts, If I can find a bunch of these I will definitely grab some of those.

Just get them right at Lowes. I bought 4 sets of same-keyed knob/deadbolt combos when I bought my house. Each “tray” of door locks is keyed the same, so you just need to get 5 sets from the same tray. Mine are Kwikset, and were like $14 a pair.

Just confirm that the 5 numbers are the same on the packages.
