I need DR's

This thread made me want to slit my wrists.

I corrected the speedometer already.
According to the calculator site I used the tire size is off a bit.

I really dont want huge tires in the rear. Really Id like all 4 to be the same exact size but nobody makes 225/55/16 DR’s.

Im not worried about rocks or anything and never said I was.

paul just buy some fuckin tires … then race me on motor homeboy

245/50R16’s Will be the same height as your 225/55R16

50 and 55 is the sidewall height expressed as a percentage of the sectional width. When you go up in width you must go down in aspect ratio… For ABS and to keep your speedometer accurate you should stay within 3%+/- original tire diameter

This will help a lot.

PJB.

I had Nitto DR’s (555R’s) on my Lightning, worked great.

Relax dude. You’re over thinking this.

For what it’s worth, the actual diameter of a particular size tire will vary with manufacturer by a small amount. This is being wayyyyyy over thought. I don’t mean to be rude, but if .1" diameter (that’s .05" tire to fender…) will bother you, I suggest seeing a doctor for your OCD (if you don’t already, and I’m not joking.)

Why THE FUCK are you wasting time and money on a set of pussy ass 225s? DRs or not, they’re gay. Get you some man tires, and stop trying to buy tires that fit people’s wife’s hondas.

I fixed it. He is buying Nitto 245/50R16 and liking it.

Did your car really come with 225s or did the owner before you downsize to maintain the green lining his pocket?

I did a little research…
93 Cobra Mustang came with 245s so as long as your back spacing is right it should be no problem.

Do It already!

There’s no sense in even trying to talk with PJB… I don’t know why he even bothered to make this post because he disagrees with everyones suggestions… Big waste of time to even respond IMO.

Dis man speakz da truf.

The tires… they were DIS WIDE.

Im not suggesting. Im telling him. LOL

He came into this thread knowing what he wanted and then got confused with a bunch of opinions… 245/55s That is all…

I think johawk beat me to it, but holy shit Paul.

Just cuz you run a 225/55 doesn’t mean that when you go to a 275 you run a 275/55. That’s nonsense.

My stock tire size is a 225/55, I run 275/40’s all around and speedo is perfect.

how do u kno its perfect did daddz tell u

maybe at the track but Im not sure about on the street

No, thats the stock size. My wheels are off an '03 v6 Mustang and the newer wheels tuck in just a little more than stock because an '03 rear end is wider.

But yet you responded in this thread a few times.

notdaddz

Yes… Because I’m pessimistically hoping you’ll see the light… Get some pills and stop thinking like Rain man.

I dont take pills. I havent taken so much as a Tylenol in over 4 years.
