I need some tire warranty info.

My girlfriend has a 2007 Tiburon GT purchased from Bowser Hyundai.

She has it in for inspection right now and two of the Hankook Optimas failed. The car has 19,800 miles on it. 95% highway miles.

My question is, what is it that Hyundai/Bowser can do to cover this? The warranty rating on these tires are 50,000 miles which I understand is maybe an exaggeration, but 19,000 miles??

No way someone should have to pay for new tires after 20,000 miles. Any ideas?

oem tire have no mileage warranty i wish car salesman would stop telling people other wise:rant:

the only warranty that oem tires car are against manufacturer defects

and mileage warranty are only good from the place purchased(tires bought from ntb with a 50k warranty have to be taken back to ntb to claim warranty)

thats exactly what I tell my customers, thats also why we offer a road hazard warranty

INteresting. Thanks for the heads up. I think she’s just gonna get 4 new ones. Just seemed odd that they go bad in 20K cus shes only had the car 9 months.
