See if a nicer restaurant orders out, bring it home, light some candles… some nice music…
It’s a pain in the ass getting a seat at a restaurant on Valentines day. Plus a lot of places only offer limited menus and raise prices.
If she doesn’t appreciate the effort, then time to move on.
As for me, I’m going with my wife to my cousins house for a nice dinner and drink. Once you get married, you don’t have as much pressure. Then again, my wife does have some nice jewelry…
allright, after consulting my dad (who asked he good friend who is a chef), a place on delaware and Hertle called Garangelo’s was recomended. I did some research and they fit my budget, so i made reservations there. so, we’ll see how it goes.
MmMMmmMmmMmm i’d pick them 2nd over home cooked itialian meals…and if anyone thinks olive garden is good italian, then you have NO idea what good italian is…definitely try linguines
I think MadTV accurately described Olive Garden some time ago. lol
I’m surprised nobody suggested Grapevine. :gotme:
Another suggestion (had you not already made reservations) would be to cook up some Bertolli dinner and have a bottle of wine to accompany it. Depending on what wine you get, you have dinner for 2 for about $20. ($10 if you get super cheap wine…lol)
curbside to go…but seriously does anyone else thinks its lame to take your gf out for dinner just because if vday. Is going to dinner really a special thing?
Just my suggestion but if you are looking for good, cheap and italian, try LaCastelana in Depew. Its right across from Depew high school on transit. The entree’s average about $10 and you can even get a descent bottle of wine for around $16-18. The food is awesome but it is first come first served so try to go early.
