Yes I replaced the TDi. Gas mileage was great on the wallet, but I needed some more fun in a DD. Other than that the cars are pretty similar, so I kept almost everything I liked about the wagon, and just added some HP and AWD! In regard to how “fast” it is, it’s fun to drive at the moment, but I have the “stage 2” stuff on the way. Then it should be a solid 12 second car which is plenty for a DD IMHO.

Awesome car, absolutely the best “all-around” DD I’ve owned. Comfortable, quiet and the tune really gives it a kick in the pants.
Over the next 10k miles, you’re going to notice the exhaust tone changing, for the better. At about 10k, it starts to really sound deep and throaty. A real butt rumbler.

I had a AWE turbo back on my MK6 GTI and it sounded awesome! Not sure what you’re going with but they have top notch quality and a great tone.
