I think I found my new daily.

The CTS-V is about $50k. With a discount, not a bad deal. They are pretty fockin sweet

I don’t know, you have your entire life to buy a car like that. You should buy something a little more spiffy than that now.

lol I found a 89 Porcshe 944 today…

not gonna be a daily tho…

please stay away from 944’s.

but since we are on the porsche subject how about a nice late 80’s turbo 911. pimp, fast, bitches love them, i love them, bitches will fuck you if you drive one, i will fuck you if you drove one, etc. the benefits never stop either.

until you have to pay for a repair.

I couldn’t agree more… EVO’s are great… I am a 4G63 lover to the end… but it would be something I bought 5 years ago… when I was 19…

They are just too, “I’m trying to relive my youth” for me anymore… the STI too… ( Im gonna get flamed ) … I have my sights on the G35 coupe, if it comes AWD anytime soon, and I like how it drives, Im sold…

I want something more “grown up”… if that makes any sence… this whole, race car on the street mentality, I’ve grown out of.

my brother thinks they (and especially wrx) look like a gay tiny sedan like john arbuckle would drive (from garfield) but with a spoiler and rims

dude you want a daily driver, look at the gas prices

I laugh everytime i see an SUV, a truck, or even a big car at the pumps.

37+ MPG > *

buy a daily driver for economy not luxury in the end youll save yourself a lot of hassle and money.

I got a bit of both in my choice  50mpg > *

haha, im only 20 and i couldnt agree with that statement more…If i were gonna get a new car it would def be a G35 coupe. I mentioned in another thread that i drove one all summer(mommy’s car :-D). Anyhow, you cannot beat the comfort of the car, its fast as hell out of the box, navigation and all that other luxury stuff, and much classier looking then the evo/sti. i hope i get flamed for saying that i dont like evo’s or sti’s.

:word: My fiance’s father-in-law got a G35C last year and I love it. Definitely looks pimp (even though his doesn’t have the spoiler. For some reason I really like the looks of the coupe with teh spoiler a lot better than without, and I hate spoilers.) It’s fast, smooth, sooooo refined, comfortable, and I personally love the exhaust note. I drove it once but it was with my fiance and her mother in the back so I couldn’t really “drive” it even though he was encouraging me to get on it. :stuck_out_tongue: Basically, yeah I want one. A lot!

looked at srt-8’s last week while searching out my next dd. just a fantastic car, so much presence, and so much oomph.

it has a “james dean-ness” that most of these other cars in this thread can not match. indescribable element of suave cool, like steve mcqueen in his turtleneck and leather jacket. it’s a solid car too.

I’d look elsewhere and see if you can find someplace that isn’t jacking prices on them. they don’t have cylinder deactivation on the 6.1’s though, so keep that in mind.

For the record… anyone who says they dont like the STi most likely has not raced/autocrossed one. Now is it the best choice for a DD? I dont know, depends what you are looking for. It is by far the most fun car I have ever driven though.

I would still buy one, but I would def. keep my jetta for commuting.

Actually I checked.
