Hey guys, I am wondering if anyone knows this person. I thought I bought an LT1 off of him from craigslist, but it turned out to be a different engine. He won’t refund me the money, I am pissed off. His name is Ryan Layton. I think he maybe on this site but not sure. He has a shop right by como park blvd on transit, right in front of the chocolate shop. So hopefully no one else will get ripped off by him. He is also selling an LS1 thats probably not real. he sold me a 4.3 v8 out of a caprice. once i took the heads off the bore looked smaller then i checked the casting number.

Make a report with the better business bureau is you picked it up at his shop. That is false advertising and if you guys had any sort of agreement, it could be considered a breach in contract. You paid for a product, discovered it was the wrong product, and wanted a refund based on the original agreement, but he refuses to honor said agreement. Also, how long ago was this? You have 3 business days to retract from any transaction and get a full refund via NYS business law if the murchandise is in the same shape as when purchased.
