Ok so im a school student at sait… Im broke ass and canadian tire of all people who I dont want to bring my car to said my pinion and lower transmission seal are leaking and my trannys possibly shot… But it drives fine to me. So if I can buy the seals can anyone help me? It shouldnt take longer than 4 hours apparantly haha. I just cant afford $400 to replace them…
lower tranny seal??? as in… rear output shaft seal… closest to the driveshaft? if that’s it thats easy peassy. but elaborate more, or use pics so we can help you out. and if your rack and pinion is leaking… thats a lengthy job.

What prompted you to go to Crappy Tire anyways?
aside from the “you are a student” pitch, you might want to buy a seal and replace it yourself and if the tranny is bad you can get a KA one and swap bellhousings and use it just fine. Either way is cheap
Crappy tire was changing my tires and told me all that shit. I took it to speedtech and got everything solved. Sorry I havnt responded in a while :S
But its all good now.
