So I finally went and picked up my turbo kit on friday. Initial feelings are the kit is beautiful. It comes with absolutly everything, even the snickers bar. It is definitly a very complete kit and the parts are all high quality. Only problems I have ran into so far is one of the bolts that bolt the turbo to the manifold hits the wastegate outlet so you cant get a nut on. I just grinded it down a bit and it fit. Also I seem to be missing the turbo outlet gasket. Me and Sasha both seem to remember seeing it at some point so it might have existed, but I cant find it at all now.
Anyway, here are some pics and more will come as I have room to unpack things.
PS, if anyone has spare exhaust manifold nuts or intake bolts, ill take them :lol:
Unfortunatly, time is the one thing I dont have. There were a few delays on the kit and I was really hoping to have everything ready to go for drifting on saturday and then niagra meet on sunday. unforunatly, i didn’t get as much done this weekend as I had hoped and I work a lot so its going to be tough. If anyone feels like they want to help let me know cause I could really use a hand. Im gonna go drill out the bolt i broke off in my block right now and then try and get my engine ready to pull from my car.
Also, if anyone can tell me where to get the turbo outlet gasket, that would be good since I either lost mine or it didn’t ship and I wanna get that on before i drop the engine in.
