Make/Model: Nissan 240sx Asking Price: $ (OBO) Condition: Used Mileage: 255k KM Location: Toronto, Ontario Contact Info: PM Description: Cars been a track car for 2 years, has a full 6-point cage with side-bars fabricated by me. Includers floating seat brackets incorporated into the cage that fits a Sparco side-mount seat, a and b pillar gussets. The cage passes CASC rules for Touring car championship, solo 1 or related. Car has front end damage and needs the driver side tower and adjoining frame pulled. If someone is interested in doing this it would make a decent track car. It will sit for 2 weeks then I’m cutting the cage out to save some of the material.
Pictures of cage:
I’ll get pictures of the front end damage for anyone interested.
is funny i actually saw this car yesterday at orf while i was dropping off my car.
it looks totally fixable and the body looked fairly clean. don’t know about the floor.
andrew should probably keep the car and try to fix it. clean 240 are hard to come
by these days.
oh its clean. I hate to see it go, but its time to move on.
Pictures will be posted soon. Listen, everyone that keeps pm’ing me about price. Make an offer once I post pics of the damage.
you cannot get insured with a caged car. if cop pulls you over and sends the info back to insurance or they somehow get ahold of it, they will drop you. Though it is technically legal to drive with a cage.
there is a few places where you can find people who will insure a caged car but it has to be inspected by the ministry. and usaully your insurance will only cover you if the car is not a daily driver (you have more than one car).
Jacked vins? Why in the world would I do that, it has matching vins and ownership. I’ve owned this car for 3 years now.
Frame machine can fix it, I had it looked at by a few professionals, except I don’t want to go through the trouble. If someone else does, they are getting a super deal.
Plus, vins or no vins, race cars don’t need them because they arn’t driven on the street.
