IC/ F.S. CA18DET motorset

Hey everyone.

         EDIT: 2 ITEMS ADDED.

I may be parting with my motor that I am running in my car now. Its a CA18DET that was fully rebuilt and installed in April 06.

The motor was rebuilt by a guy named Rafi who really know his stuff, he did a really great job with this motor. What the motor has is,

Fully rebuilt motor with stock internals.
1.2mm metal headgasket.
ARP head studs
T28 BB turbo.
440cc injectors.
nismo FPR.
300zx MAFS.
HKS cone air filter.
Brand new OEM clutch that I have been running since April.
Also have on order an ACT stage one clutch that will be included.
All new gaskets and seals.

I broke in the motor for 5000km with regular oil then ran mobil 1 10W30 full synthetic ever since, and changed the oil every 2500km. The motor is still only on its second oil change with just over 8000km on the motor as of now. I am running 10psi right now also and it pulls very strong.

The motor will come complete with Tranny, slightly tuned ECU, Full wire harness, IC piping, bings Front mount intercooler, and a Turbosmart Knock off BOV.

just curious, but how easy/hard is it to drop a ca18det into an s14 chassis?

ive been hearing that ca’s can take a true beating and pretty much like a mini RB. and better than an SR

This motor is freaking crazy! I know the seller and I’ve been in his car before. It pulls very strong and runs mint. The CA is so smooth when compared to SRs and KAs. Whoever buys this is getting an awsome deal.

That’s gangster pricing btw, freshly rebuilt motor, broken in, basic necessary boltons included, this is a much much better investment than anything else I can think of in terms of engine power.

a CA18det is a RB technically with 2 less cylinders. man if i had the cash now i be knocking on your door this at this moment

ca’s are the shiznit… if i hadn’t finally got my rb, i’d go for ca’s again, as it is i’d put this in my winter car, but it’s single cam ca turbo is still strong…
