Ahhh, I usually don’t like getting involved in this type of stuff, but I think this needs to be said.
From what I gather from the details that he has posted, and the details the previous owner posted, I don’t think he has done anything that would constitute as a ‘flip’. He bought the car a week ago, probably gave it the once over and puts it back on the board with a +$3000 price tag??
If he had put some money into it, fixed what needed to be fixed, certified and etested then sold the car to someone truly ‘worry free’ at a REASONABLE price, then maybe people would look the other way.
I don’t think there is anything wrong with ‘making a profit’, but it has to be justified.
If you bought the car, polished it up all ‘purdy’, that doesn’t net you a $3000 profit.
It’s too bad, if the car is that mint and sold for that little, it’s a shame another member with good intentions could have bought it and did something great with it.
