Ya theyve only been running SnS’s since the 70’s, Nice find. BTW the sunday night skate is for “I suck” skill level. Also there is only about 40 guys showing up from week to week.

bah, thats no fun. im not a good forward, but I’m probably better than “beginner and int only.” and playing goalie for skates like that suuucks.
I really want icetime though. I’m down to 160 lbs (the lightest I’ve been since high school) and my legs are in great shape, I’m trying to maintain it.
Anyone know of any other ice?

why would you go there? They dont do that great of a job on em, i would trust Great Skate over Simmons.
^wrd. the one guy was telling me about how I don’t want my skates to have any radius. “goalie skates should be completely flat.”
and last I went there they only sharpened on 1 diameter (I don’t remember what), and wouldn’t change it.
but even at great skate you have to see who is doing it. the older guy is the way to go, some of those kids dont know what the hell they’re doing.
now back to the topic of more skate and shoots. I want to play!

anyone have any other ice? I can’t make pepsi during the afternoons usually due to school. Incase anyone ever sees me there though, I wear a half shield, yellow eagle x70 gloves, and either a black w/2 weird yellow stripes euro jersey, a white capitol city jersey, or a black thundercats practice jersey. or a blue gear factory practice jersey
and when I’m in net i have a white mask with a gold cage, and matching white/grey/black pads and gloves, usually wear a City Honors jersey with Sadoff on the back.
anyway, I want more ice!!!

they’re good guys, I just ordered my Hackva through there. but for things like skates, I don’t agree with ‘flat skates.’ most competitive goalies I’ve met get they’re skates profiled.
im into sharp, profiled skates these days. with a 28’ or less radius, its a lot easier to play the puck, and with sharp skates it’s easier to recover from a slide, or a butterfly crawl (which I’ve been working on a bit the last few weeks and at the camp I played at all last week)
