Nice work.
Honestly we need to change your username to just “Ron” now. Congratulations dude, that is SUPER impressive.
Holy shit that’s impressive! Think of the time you’ll pick up in the quarter mile now!
Most companies should have a PR link (I would think) on their site, if not check twitter or other social media fronts. Start with a simple “Does {company name} ever use/want real success stories in commercials”
Also better mpg. I read a 100 lbs can save 2% on fuel.
Haha nice job.
Southpark comes to mind when Stan, Kyle and Cartman fatten Butters up with Chinese and then do liposuction in his living room.
wicked job on the weightloss / fitness.
don’t spoil it by cashing in… just enjoy
Already did one commerical/segment, but that was only because my friend works for the company and I got a bunch of free equipment for myself and a couple friends.
But like I said, I also want to be able to motivate others. A couple grand is not going to change my life, but if I can help someone change their life for the better than it would be that much more rewarding.
you would probably have to go on decca or something to be in a commercial lol
Nice, I won’t touch that shit. I am trying to extend my life.
First, congratulations on your incredible weight loss. You should be very proud of your accomplishment, as I’m sure you are.
Many diet drug & fitness companies will find athletes or bodybuilders at the end of their off season or bulking cycles. They record the before and then record the after several weeks later when the athlete is back in training or has completed a cut. These are people who have the ability both genetically and from training to achieve the end results in shorter time.
The before & after pictures you see are even more misleading. Here’s a clip from Bigger, Faster, Stronger:
Probably the best way for you to “cash in” is to take what you’ve learned from your fat loss experience and help others in need of dramatic fat loss.
RON! holy shit, congrats!
Thanks. I forgot I haven’t been by to see you in a while. Thanks again for helping my mom with her car, she loves that thing.
Here are some more “after” pictures we took today:
congrats!
what are your plans to deal with all that excess skin?
Nice job!
You really did well, just keep with it!
I am in the process of getting rid of 35lbs of beer and crap food from my upper body and this is a great incentive for me to keep with it. The working out is the easy part…I just really struggle with eating the right foods at the right time. I love to play master chef and feasting after 12:00am which is a big no no.
I think the real question is how much better do you feel now? Details.
Good question. I find it funny that the biggest loser starts weigh ins with the shirt off and by the end of the season they weigh in with their shirts on.
My neck, arms, face all have rebounded well. My stomach and upper legs have some ways to go.
My plan is to trim down some more, hold steady for 6 months, if it hasn’t gotten any better, use some pre-tax HSA dollars towards some process TBD.
Tons of energy. I feel like I have post lift euphoria all the time.
Also much more positive outlook on life. I was always a happy in the moment kind of guy, but now I am also excited about my future.
Also fun to catch girls actually checking me out rather than the other way around. Also funny having people I haven’t seen in a long time not recognizing me.
Yeah I found that lifting really did nothing for me. I could bench 315 for 10 or 12 reps, but couldn’t run a 1/4 mile.
Eating right and cardio, as I refer to it as the double burn. You need to provide the right fuel and the right ignition to get the furnace burning the hottest/most efficient. I cut all rich foods and treats for the first 9 months, with a treat meal maybe once or twice a month. Now I treat myself much more often, but offset it with an extra good workout or run.
Woah man great job! congrats!
Actually, that is not true. They have to be real people.
They find people in amazing shape with good exercise habits, tell them to take off and just eat like shit for a month or 2, then take a pic, then tell them to return to their normal physique.
Congrats, you need a picture in the original outfit if it’s still around. I’m interested in your current diet. Being younger I have been able to maintain my physical fitness from high school but I know my diet isn’t where it should be. It’d be nice to hear from someone that isn’t some doctor or trainer, just a regular guy who completely changed their life.
