saw this in a friends journal today…rediculous…dumb rich kids in their parents cars…apparently they blamed in on playing “need for speed” too much and wanted to do it in real life… :tdown:

Cabbie killed in head-on crash in Rosedale

A cab driver has been killed in a head-on collision on Mount Pleasant south of St. Clair.

Police say two teens were using the winding stretch of open road as a race track. Police tell 680 News two18 year olds were racing their parents’ Mercedes Benzes north on Mount Pleasant just before 10:30 last night.

The cab driver was trying to make a left hand turn onto Whitehall in Rosedale when one of the of the cars slammed head-on into the taxi.

Residents say it is a dangerous intersection because it is located at the top of a hill and it is difficult to see on-coming traffic.

Both teens are charged with criminal negligence causing death. One is also charged with failing to stop after an accident.

and don’t tell me i’m wrong. I am canadian, grew up in canada, am proud of it, and you don’t hear me talk any shit about americans. and having lived in both countries for extended periods of time, i would know where the criticism is coming from.

i could have sworn i was hearing 2 ontario cops shit on me for “causing trouble” on “their side” of the border and that i should go cause my problems down in america instead of on their holy ground. and i realy deserved to hear it considering it was a simple case of not seeing the stop sign … a HORRIBLE HORRIBLE crime … worse then murder

i must have been hearing things the day i was up on clifton hill wearing my polo shirt w/ the lil american flag on the left chest, and a bunch of canadian guys saw it and started talking about how they wish 9-11 had killed more of us … and 1/2 the people in earshot of us were laughing about it
