Ignition key Q

I have an S14 and im the only one who can turn on my car. I have to turn the key in all the way and hold it there while playing with it in order for the car to turn on. Lately, even Im having some difficulty turning it on.

I am pretty sure I just need to get a new iginition lock/cylinder assy with a new key to fix it, but I just wanted ppl’s input before i start looking around for one. If thats the problem, would an S13 assembly work?

follow my previous instructions
but look at the ignition assembly
there is a T cut in the thing
check how crisp the edges of the T

i kno it may sound gay but you could to do push start button an toggle switches for ACC nd IGN

i dont think a s13 1 would work .

its just the ignition switch mine is doing the same you wont need to change the tumbler or key just change up the switch and you will be on your way
