Hi guys, I’m looking at purchasing a S13 240sx. The car seems to be in overall good shape except the key comes out of the ignition with a simple pull during engine start. Can anyone point me to the cause and the cost to replace or fix it? Thanks.
Buy the car, remove the steering collumn cover (top and bottom) then remove the ignition. Bring it to a local locksmith, and have it repaired, or simply get a different one and have it bolted up. Use google. Price can be anywhere from 50$-150$

have a new key cut by code, I’v had luck on a few cars that way.
