Is there a way to flag the classifieds as ignored, like you can do with a user?

Yeah at the moment there isn’t a way for users to select which forums show up on “new posts.” But if there is a specific forum that you do want to read, you can “subscribe” to it. Click on the forums you want to follow and look for the “forum tools” drop-down (it’s on the gray bar to the right of the screen under the “post new thread” button) and select “subscribe.”
Then instead of using “new posts” you can use the “settings” button next to your user name at the top right in kind of the same way. Or you can set it to email updates & new threads right to you either daily or weekly.

also note that we’ll be upgrading to the latest version of 4.0 this weekend so if the functionality is in the update you’ll get it.
if we dont have it it’s probably not in VB without a patch.
