Fact is, you can’t stop Mexican illegal immigration, if they want to come here they will find a way and they will always have a job as businesses love to take them. Just consider yourself lucky you only have one border to worry about.

On the other hand there are plenty of men that will get paid just to marry women from overseas until they get their citizenship, then a sudden divorce. Entirely “legal” loophole which gets people from other places in the world.

We’ve always been a melting pot, and through a lot of history it was illegal immigration and only thing that’s staying constant is that we are in fact still a melting pot. Just wait until there is going to be a huge Asian influx into Americas again and Mexicans won’t look that bad anymore.

I am not saying stop anything. Nothing will ever come to a halt, absolute nothing is certain in life. Just work at reducing it the best you can. Give the farms subsidation (sp) to make up for the “I can’t afford quality labor” bullshit excuses, AND FOLLOW THROUGH with checks and balances. Make it worth it again to work harder at something to better yourself. That’s the point.

The marriage thing… make those people fit a criteria that is ILLEGAL and enforced. If they can flip a switch and bans some movie looking guns… do this too! If you marry in a non US citizen, then don’t remain married for say 5 years, or don’t prove your worth in this country after a hasty devorce, ya get the boot back! If its that easy to say my sport shooting gun all of a sudden makes me a criminal, its gotta be easier to make someone who is already (or atleast damn close to or was not too long ago) an illegal alien, an illegal and ship them back! Once again, make it HARDER to accomplish, not easier to skate around!
