i started watching the vid… thinkin… yeah i got one… ill sell it…

then all of the sudden! boom its in the air! AWSOME vid… thats the utimate r/c vehical.

doesnt’ appear to be

neat

don’t let that sucker get outta range when its airborn or its :sadwavey:

Thats because the people flying it are expereienced and know how its going to react. Low surface areas for lift like that are very unstable and when you run out of power / fuel its like flying a brick trying to glide it back in.

but it’s made of foam who cares haha

Exactly, you will when it comes down and its broken. Don’t confuse the foam used for these things as foam for your seat. When they fall out of the sky they will break. I’m not saying they are as fragile as rice paper, but it is vonerable. Thats all.

I have a plane at home with a foam wing, its still coated in a light plastic and will brake if hit bad enough (anything falling from altitude would constitue “bad enough” )

my point was you fix it

that is sweet as hell. and i think they have a dvd or instructions so you dotn break it. i mean i dont think they would sell it with out instruction. come on.

foam sucks, i had a remote controlled airplane for like 10 mins before… it went up, then came back down… now its been sittin in the garage in peices for 5 years

kurt I was just saying it would get expensive to buy replacement parts if they even sell them. These types of constuctions aren’t fixed like a DSM at Home depot. :finger:

The tail for my electric plane which is all foam is 40 bucks plus shipping. And that is for a triangle piece of foam. the whole kit cost 189 and it came with everything including the remote and motor.

Who ever said they “probably give you instructions” instructions can’t teach you how to react when flying an RC. It will give you basic controls for doing your preflight the rest is up to you. I started flying RC planes in 98 and in all the planes I have owned only this recent plane I bought came with a DVD video that makes it look so simple, until you get it up in the air yourself.

Thats fucking cool…

nothing FLYS like a DEERE!
