As far as immigration goes, let me just say the immigration system is fucked. How do I know this you may ask? Well we (my family) sponsor a kid we have known for about 12 years, came here when he was 15-16. One of the hardest working people i have ever met in my life, would help anyone at the drop of a hat for next to nothing, can do almost anything.

Honestly a good person, has never done anything wrong, is legally married here, legally has a Tax ID for his buisness (tell me thats not fucked, hes considered here illegal, and yet he can get a Tax ID for his buisness) Has 2 kids, one recent and an older son who my daughter gets to play with.

He was here legally for quite some time, and overstayed his visa. Now one thing I find absoloutely hysterical is that a judge asked him if he had ever payed taxes up to this point, he told him for a few years yes but afterwords no (at that point he was here illegally) they critisized him for not paying taxes for the 8 years he was here, well, as you know he was here illegally, how do you exspect him to pay taxes, because i can tell you right now, if all it took was for this kid to pay any back tax to stay here, he’d take all of his savings and work his ass off to pay it.

Thats not the only thing, i cant really talk about much more given that were still going through everything, but as far as immigration court goes and some of the procedures that go along with it, they need to be worked on big time.

Theres to many scumbags that get to stay here an for BS reasons, while someone who just wanted to get away from a shithole and make a good life for himself must jump through some serious hoops to try and proove why he thinks he should be able to stay in this country

Belive me he’d have no problem doing it if he could, but he cannot pay taxes. If you are here illegally and do not hold a valid visa, or a social security card or whatever legal identification they give you you cannot pay taxes.

So to harp on someone that wants to live here legally, enjoy a job legally and all the benefits of living here legally, and is doing everything to do so just because they dont pay taxes because the legally cannot until they become a permanent resident is just dumb

There are a lot of immgirants here that I do not think should be, and some of them are here legally with open arms, and they are some of the worst offenders when it comes to legality. But there are some seriously good hard working people that would give you the shirts off their back because its the right thing to do that have such a hard time staying, while others from harsh drug trafficing countries can get here legally because they can somehow proove that if they go home they will be killed
