not to be a dick… but yeah we do have daytime running lights here in Canada. Go start your car, then get out and look at the lights. lol.

You’re right. I think the year was actually '86.

DRLs don’t matter, if it turns out that you need them you can wire them up in about 3 seconds with a cheap relay.

as far as i know, 89-90s don’t have drls, but 91+ does, but don’t quote me on that.

Yeah the pignose has the DRL’s but they are commonly referred to as fog lights.

As far as the import laws go… it was 15 and still is as far as i’ve heard, but they are really pushing for 25 years if the car was not manufacured in North America. I think I’ll be safe as long as I contact the RIV people.
